Sandy's Bike - our dear friend Sandy Roberts got this 1955 Harley Davidson FLH as a basket case and asked us to put it back together and get it running for her. This labor of love turned into a total restoration using all the original and replica original parts we could get and even fabricating a few. We used the knowledge of Andy and TC, catalogs, manuals, Harley history books and even the Internet to rebuild this motorcycles as close to original as possible, even down to the 1955 only style speedometer, front fender medallion and paint color. Before we totally finished the restoration Sandy’s motorcycle took second place in the Judged Antique class at the January 2004 Easy Rider Bike Show in Memphis. After it was finished the bike took the Best Antique award at the April 2004 Clear Channel Motorcycle Mania show in Little Rock. By the way, not only does it look good but it runs very well also. Thanks for the opportunity Sandy, we love you.Sandy's Bike - our dear friend Sandy Roberts got this 1955 Harley Davidson FLH as a basket case and asked us to put it back together and get it running for her.
